So far I have received plenty of comments and thoughts about the blood of war. Using deviantart as a link to connect with other artist, writers and colorist and the most important type of people ... the fans is the motivation my group and I needs to keep trying to push out this comic book. We are still using deviantart to also hire freelance artist, colorists to jump on board and dish out cover art, and knock out a couple of pages.
I was thinking of having a soldier who had it all but lost everything, this kinda makes him the militarily wise one out of the group. I't also give me a chance to give him a really messed up past.
An aged dog of war, Moses Landen came up in his military career in the shadow of his legendary father. After being injured on a recon mission he was offered a position in a covert paramilitary unit in which he served for many years. On his last mission with the E.C.H.O unit he was framed with regicide---earning him the name, among the people, of King Slayer of Ra.

To get to know the characters a little you have to know their past.
The characters and mankind believes that after a globule war a catastrophic event took place that forced mankind to believe that it was the Apocalypse, billions of people died ... after trying to stay alive the story takes place a couple of year or so after mankind starts to build and re-populate. This is where the story begins, different species are born, mankind is no longer on top of the food chain, instead of mountains in the background there are abandoned cities and empires from centuries ago seen from miles away. Hover cars are grounded and decaying, vertical farms and plant life has taken over the street and buildings.
The feel of the areas
Some people still try to live in some of the abandoned cities others just went out and created villages around the abandoned cities using them as a place of recourse for water and food. Technology isn't as advanced as there past and mankind has to rely on another source of energy, steam, water, or sometimes dumb down the technology of their past so they can use it. There are new empires, rising from the ashes of the old empires others are new, you can tell from the different styles. One's has that European feel why'll the other looks rust a little more modern.
What is suspected in the story
Dragons, monsters, mythical creators oh my!! Yes sir, they are around and using use as there resources of food and more. Some smaller hybrid dragons are ride-able like cops to horses others are a lot bigger wilder and eats us for dinner. (two different breeds) This is just an example of mankind adapting to the world around them.
Other stuff that's in the story is that technology isn't as advanced as there past and mankind has to rely on another source of energy, steam, water, or sometimes dumb down the technology of there past so they can use it. You can say mankind is steampunking rusty futuristic cars, trains and generators to better there lives as much as they can. They do fall back on swords, crossbows, old style guns like muskets and anything else that's easy to create if they need two. So you'll sometime see a mix during a fight where someone richer would have more advanced weapons compared to someone who is cheaper.
My name is Nelson Malta. I am a Sketch Artist & Graphic Designer. The Blood of War is a fantasy, action, and drama comic book. Created by me, with the creative assistance of my brother Davide Malta.
The Blood of War was an idea that surged from a teenage me, and grew as time passed. My brother and I would discuss details of the book and after time has passed, and I have perfected my skills and artistic techniques, the comic book has finally come about. As bother's Davide Malta and I share the same creative drive, and abilities to create great things. Therefore, It came easy as a project for us to put our minds together and create what we believe is a masterpiece among comic books. Through our lives, my brother and I have also shared the interest in creating unusual concepts of art by creating the unique characters that interact through this book. My hope is to have readers experience the thrill and great enthusiasm I have shared with those that have already been privileged to experience The Blood of War.
